Quality TASK FORCE

Quality of Asphalt Pavement Task Force

In early 2015, in response to concerns about the quality of asphalt pavement in Ontario, OHMPA formed the Quality of Asphalt Pavement Task Force. The purpose of this group comprised of industry experts, consultants and academics, was to assess these concerns and propose workable solutions that are scientifically sound and also practical. In responding to this challenge, the task force had road owners’ concerns in mind and drew  upon the expert opinions of the members of the group.

In December 2016, the work of the Task Force was completed, and from the groups recommendations, other quality initiatives have been developed.

The findings and recommendations of the Quality of Asphalt Pavement Task Force are published here on the website. For more information, please contact the OAPC office at 905-507-3707 or by email at info@onasphalt.org.
